In this 8 to 12-month term, you'll gain hands-on experience within the Oil Sands Projects group. As a student, you will focus on areas like Bitumen Production and Primary Upgrading while supporting Senior Process Engineers. This role involves applying classroom knowledge to practical projects that enhance your understanding of the oil and gas industry.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist Senior Process Engineer on project scope
• Support Process Engineering deliverables like simulations
• Gather and filter operational data for design support




• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines and teams
• Review designs by engineering contractors
Requirements:
• Enrolled in a Chemical Engineering bachelor's program
• General knowledge of process plant operations
• Familiarity with PFDs and P&IDs;
• Experience with Hysys or UNISIM
• Valid Class 5 Alberta driver’s license
