SD42 is looking for a qualified Occupational Therapist to join our Learning Services Team, for a 0.8 FTE Temporary position, effective September 1, 2026, until the return of the incumbent, but not beyond June 30, 2027.

Responsibilities:

- Promote, maintain, and develop students’ skills for effective participation in the school workplace.
- Provide services to students with physical, sensory, cognitive, and complex neurobehavioural needs.
- Conduct assessments, consultations, and program planning to support student development.
- Support diagnosis, treatment, and selection/adaptation of specialized equipment.
- Review reports, interview parents/guardians, and observe student needs.
- Collaborate with educational staff and medical professionals.




- Deliver in-service training and support for school staff.
- Coordinate services with community agencies and external service providers.
- Perform other related duties as required.

Qualifications:

- A Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Registration or eligibility for registration and possession of a current license with the College of Occupational Therapists of BC.
