We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to determine their needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Implement therapeutic interventions aimed at improving patients' daily living skills and overall functionality.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure cohesive patient care.
- Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, goals, and strategies for achieving optimal outcomes.
- Document patient progress accurately and maintain up-to-date records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Provide case management support to coordinate care across various services and settings.
- Stay informed about advancements in occupational therapy practices and participate in ongoing professional development.
Skills
- Strong background in patient care with a focus on improving quality of life for individuals with diverse needs.
- Proficient understanding of medical terminology relevant to occupational therapy practices.
- Experience or knowledge in pediatrics is highly desirable for working with younger populations.
- Familiarity with acute care environments to effectively address immediate patient needs.
- Excellent case management skills to facilitate comprehensive patient care plans.
