Duties

- Assist with the setup and breakdown of drilling rigs and construction sites, ensuring all equipment is properly rigged and secured
- Operate heavy machinery such as excavators, forklifts, cranes, and other construction equipment safely and efficiently
- Support horizontal drilling operations by preparing materials and maintaining site safety protocols
- Perform routine maintenance checks on tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Help with site cleanup, material handling, and transportation of supplies using commercial driving skills




- Follow safety procedures diligently during all activities to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with industry standards
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate tasks and maintain a productive work environment

Experience

- Prior experience in oil & gas or construction environments is highly preferred
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot basic equipment issues effectively
- CSO, H2S, First Aid Tickets needed
- Confined Space and Fall Arrest would be considered an asset
- Knowledge of rigging techniques and safety practices related to rigging operations
- Familiarity with horizontal drilling processes is a plus
- Construction experience demonstrating versatility in various site tasks
