Aecon is searching for an experienced EHS Director to oversee health and safety performance on major transit and infrastructure projects. Reporting to the Project Director, you'll proactively manage risks and integrate EHS into all phases of project delivery. This role emphasizes leadership and strategic collaboration across various stakeholders to ensure a successful safety culture.

Key Responsibilities:



• Lead the EHS function for collaborative project delivery models • Ensure compliance and proactive safety measures are maintained • Integrate EHS in the project's planning and execution phases • Develop project-specific EHS management frameworks • Mentor and lead EHS teams to enhance performance

Requirements: • 15+ years EHS leadership experience in major projects • Strong knowledge of EHS legislation and regulations • Track record managing EHS in team-oriented environments • Proven success in incident investigation and risk assessment • Degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience
