This role requires a Class 1 or 2 Driver’s License and “S” Endorsement to operate safely for a rural route serving various communities. Training will be available, and successful candidates must complete several background checks and obtain a First Aid Certificate.
Key Responsibilities:
• Safely transport students on rural routes
• Conduct vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
• Verify and ensure student safety during transit
• Maintain communication with school and dispatch
• Assist with loading and unloading students
Requirements:
• Class 1 or 2 Driver's License required
• “S” Endorsement for school bus operation
• Criminal Record - Vulnerable Sector Check needed
• Alberta Child Services Intervention Check required
• First Aid Certificate must be obtained
