This role is ideal for those passionate about archaeology and eager to engage in physically demanding work. You'll be involved in archaeological surveys, excavations, and artifact recovery while gaining valuable skills under the guidance of experienced professionals. This position offers opportunities for travel and collaboration within a supportive team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct test pit and pedestrian archaeological surveys
• Assist in Stage 2, 3, and 4 assessments and excavations
• Support artifact collection, cataloguing, and documentation




• Maintain accurate mapping, photography, and site records
• Follow health and safety procedures on field projects
Requirements:
• Enrolled in or completed relevant post-secondary education
• Experience in outdoor physical work is required
• Previous archaeological field experience is preferred
• Valid Ontario Class G Driver's Licence is an asset
• Must be eligible to work in Canada
