Handsome Coffee is a Montreal-based premium event company creating experiences for some of the world’s leading brands, corporate clients, weddings, and special events.

We’re looking for a full-time Operations, Events & Content Assistant to become a key part of our growing team.

This is a varied, hands-on role for someone who likes being busy, takes pride in their work, and pays attention to the small details.

Most of the work is based in Montreal, with occasional travel for events and activations in other Canadian cities, including Toronto and Vancouver.

One day you might be preparing equipment and branding for an upcoming activation. The next you could be driving to an event, working directly with a client, capturing photos and videos for social media, scouting a venue, coordinating a delivery, or travelling for an event.

Because we work with high-profile brands and important events, attention to detail, professionalism, hospitality, and customer experience are extremely important.

We're looking for someone who sees what needs to be done and takes ownership of it.

What You'll DoEvents & Operations

- Prepare equipment, supplies, signage, and branding for upcoming events
- Make sure event materials are complete, clean, organized, and presentation-ready
- Load and unload vehicles
- Drive company and rental vehicles for deliveries and pickups
- Assist with event setups and teardowns
- Pick up supplies and materials from vendors
- Scout event locations and document important details
- Maintain and organize event equipment and inventory
- Pack and prepare equipment for shipping
- Coordinate pickups and deliveries
- Assist with branding, decals, signage, displays, and event materials
- Follow event checklists and double-check details before anything leaves for an event
- Help troubleshoot unexpected problems
- Occasionally travel to other Canadian cities for events and activations

Content & Social Media
- Capture high-quality photos and vertical video at events
- Document event setups, branded activations, behind-the-scenes work, and finished experiences
- Identify moments and details worth capturing rather than waiting to be told exactly what to photograph




- Create simple social media content for Instagram and other platforms
- Help organize photos and videos from events
- Assist with posting and maintaining social media content
- Make sure content reflects the quality of our events and the brands we work with

You don't need to be a professional photographer or content creator, but you should have a good eye and understand what makes a photo or video look polished and worth sharing. Hospitality & Customer Experience

Our clients trust us to represent their brands at important events.

You should be comfortable interacting with clients, venue staff, vendors, guests, and other event professionals.

We're looking for someone who is:

Small details matter. A crooked sign, dirty piece of equipment, missing item, poor photo, or late arrival can affect the overall experience. We want someone who notices those things before the client does.

Driving Is a Major Part of This Position A valid driver's licence and clean driving record are required.

You must be a confident driver and comfortable driving cargo vans and minivan vehicles in and around Montreal/Toronto.

If you are not a confident driver or are uncomfortable driving larger vehicles, this position will not be a good fit.

- Willing to take ownership of a task from beginning to end
- Flexible when plans or schedules change
- Available for occasional early mornings, evenings, and weekends
- Comfortable with occasional work travel

French and English are an asset. Experience in events, hospitality, logistics, production, content creation, social media, retail, hotels, restaurants, or other customer-facing environments is helpful.

More importantly, we're looking for someone with excellent judgment, reliability, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic.

Schedule & Travel

Full-time, approximately 35–40 hours per week.

The position is based in Montreal and the majority of the work takes place in the Montreal area.

Because we work in events, the schedule will not always be Monday–Friday, 9–5. Some events require early mornings, evenings, or weekend work.

There is also occasional travel for events and activations in other Canadian cities, including Toronto and Vancouver. Some trips may require overnight stays.

Transportation and approved work-related travel expenses are covered by the company.

Compensation

$25–$28/hour depending on experience.

3-month probationary period.

Before You Apply

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys variety.

You might spend part of your week behind the scenes preparing an activation and another part onsite representing Handsome Coffee in front of a major brand.

We're looking for someone who takes pride in doing things properly, notices details, treats clients exceptionally well, and doesn't need to be constantly supervised.

This is probably not the right position if you're looking for a predictable desk job, dislike driving, aren't comfortable with physical work, or prefer to wait for instructions before taking action.

Pay: $25.00-$28.00 per hour
