The Opportunity

We are seeking an Operations & Growth Manager to lead and grow our operations across the Vancouver Metropolitan Area and Lower Mainland.

This is a unique opportunity for an entrepreneurial, self-driven leader who is equally comfortable managing client relationships, supporting operational teams, visiting sites, identifying new opportunities, and helping build a growing market.

While this position is classified as hybrid and offers flexibility to work remotely, this is not a traditional work-from-home role. The successful candidate will be expected to travel regularly throughout the Vancouver Metropolitan Area and Lower Mainland to visit client sites, support operations, meet prospective and existing clients, and represent Planet Services Group in the local market.

You will play a key role in ensuring operational excellence while also contributing directly to the growth of Planet Services Group's cleaning, security, and restoration services throughout the region.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Client Success

- Oversee and support day-to-day operations across assigned client accounts and service locations.
- Conduct regular site visits to ensure service quality, compliance, and client satisfaction.
- Build strong relationships with clients, property managers, site teams, and other key stakeholders.




- Work closely with operational teams to resolve service issues and continuously improve delivery.
- Support the mobilization and onboarding of new contracts and service locations.
- Ensure teams are meeting Planet Services Group's standards for quality, professionalism, safety, and responsiveness.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and client experience.

Growth & Business Development

- Identify new business opportunities across cleaning, security, and restoration services.
- Build and maintain relationships with prospective clients and industry partners.
- Develop new business through networking, strategic outreach, referrals, and relationship building.
- Attend industry events, meetings, and networking opportunities to strengthen Planet Services Group's presence in the market.
- Prepare proposals, presentations, and pricing in collaboration with senior leadership and operational teams.
- Identify cross-selling and expansion opportunities within existing client relationships.
- Maintain accurate client, pipeline, and opportunity information within the company's CRM.

Leadership & Market Growth

- Serve as a key representative of Planet Services Group in the Vancouver and Lower Mainland market.
- Help develop and execute strategies for sustainable growth in British Columbia.
- Work closely with the General Manager and senior leadership team to align regional operations with the company's broader growth strategy.
- Bring forward innovative ideas and market insights that can improve operations, strengthen our service offering, and create new opportunities.
- Take ownership of challenges and opportunities with a solutions-focused, entrepreneurial mindset.

Qualifications

- 3+ years of experience in operations management, business development, account management,



or a similar senior client-facing role.
- Solid experience managing B2B client relationships and service-based operations.
- Proven ability to identify and develop new business opportunities.
- Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently while remaining highly accountable and connected to the broader team.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and growth-focused environment.
- Experience in facilities management, commercial cleaning, security, restoration, property management, parking management, or related service industries is an asset.
- Strong knowledge of the Vancouver and Lower Mainland business or commercial real estate market is an asset.
- Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office or equivalent tools.
- Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation are required.
- Ability to travel regularly throughout the Vancouver Metropolitan Area and British Columbia is required.
