Work location: Scarborough, near Steeles Ave East and Markham Road, close to TTC stops.

Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week (8AM-4:30PM, Monday to Friday, day shift), with occasional overtime.

Due to our growing business, we need to hire one Order Desk Associate.

Position Description

This associate will be responsible to process customer orders and coordinate with colleagues in lab and production regarding customer orders, details as following:

· Receive customer orders via phone, email, and fax.

· Input orders with accuracy into ERP system.

· Doing basic calculations related to business terms on the orders

· Track the shipment dates and production processes for each order

· Other administrative works assigned by the manager.

Working Environment

Similar environment found in office setting within food manufacturers. This is an on-site job. No remote or hybrid options.





Qualifications

- Grade 12 education or equivalent, college education preferred.
- Must be able to read, write and speak English.
- Must be proficient in using MS office products such as Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Well organized and able to communicate well with customers and internal colleagues
- Have a good mathematical aptitude.
- Have a high level of positive work ethics and team spirit
- Previous order desk experiences in food industry preferred
