Suncrest College invites applications for a Communications Instructor to teach Interpersonal Communications (COMM 291) and Helping Skills (COMM 197) in the Saskatchewan Polytechnic Continuing Care Assistant Certificate program. The role is a part‑time, 67‑hour contract from September 15, 2026 to November 20, 2026, based in Melfort, SK.
Responsibilities
- Plan, develop, and deliver both practical and theoretical instruction for Interpersonal Communications and Helping Skills courses.
- Assess and evaluate student performance, and provide required reports.
- Collaborate with the Program Coordinator to establish the final teaching schedule.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, English, B.Ed. (English or Communications major), or an equivalent combination of education that includes a degree and a completed thesis or research‑writing project.
- Minimum of two years of recent or relevant business/industry experience or post‑secondary teaching experience.
- Must meet Saskatchewan Polytechnic qualifications and obtain necessary approval.
- Demonstrated experience working in a cross‑cultural setting.
