North Toronto Soccer’s Advanced Development Program provides players aged 10-13 with a safe, accessible, and stage appropriate environment where players can develop and refine their skills. The Advanced Development Program consists of under-11, under-12 & under-13 Age Groups for boys and girls. Within the Age Group coaches work closely with a select group of players known as a Pod. Pods are selected based on level of play, but movement between Pods can be facilitated. Each Pod trains three times per week and plays a weekly game. Head Coaches responsibilities:
Head Coaches are responsible for leading all aspects of team operations including: Planning & delivering training sessions according to the Age Group scheme of work Coaching games Facilitating tryouts Providing player feedback Maintaining positive communication with players and families Regular communication with the Manager, Advanced Development Program Experience & Training:
Experience working with Grassroots players between the ages of 9-13 Learn to Train Community Workshop (S4L)* Grassroots Diploma - preferred Respect in Sport (RIS)* Making Ethical Decisions (MED)* Making Headway* NCCP Emergency Action Planning*
