Become an Outreach and Enrichment Specialist at the University of Waterloo, where you’ll design impactful programs for elementary and secondary students. Engage diverse audiences and advance post-secondary accessibility across Ontario. This full-time, temporary role at the Office of the Registrar focuses on outreach aligned with the Ontario Postsecondary Access and Inclusion Program.
You will plan and deliver enriching activities and workshops, ensuring an inclusive and supportive educational workplace. Your collaboration with campus units and external partners will amplify outreach efforts to create long-term student engagement. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop outreach programs for diverse student populations
- Plan and execute on-campus and off-campus events
- Communicate with stakeholders about event logistics
- Create comprehensive risk management plans for programs
- Document and report on program outcomes for improvement Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably from UWaterloo
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Experience planning events for large groups
- Knowledge of equity, diversity, and inclusion principles
- Valid Driver’s Abstract and a G driver’s license Contribute to educational equity and foster student engagement through innovative outreach at the University of Waterloo.
