Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver Alberta curriculum-aligned English and Social Studies lessons • Promote critical thinking and literacy through engaging experiences • Utilize differentiated instruction to meet diverse student needs • Monitor student progress with timely feedback and assessments • Collaborate with support staff to aid student achievement
Requirements: • Valid Alberta Teaching Certificate or eligibility • Bachelor of Education with specialization in English or Social Studies • Excellence in classroom instruction at junior high/high school • Strong knowledge of Alberta Education curriculum • Experience with Universal Design for Learning principles
