The Opportunity

The Brandon Chamber of Commerce is seeking a creative, organized and energetic Marketing Coordinator to join our team. Reporting to the General Manager and working collaboratively with Chamber staff, this position leads and coordinates the Chamber's marketing and communications, helping tell our story, promote the value of membership, support advocacy priorities and build awareness of the Chamber throughout the business community.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

- Lead and manage Chamber marketing and communications across weekly and monthly newsletters, social media, the website, printed materials, displays and other promotional channels.
- Develop engaging content and campaigns that strengthen Chamber brand awareness and clearly communicate the value of Chamber membership.
- Promote membership benefits, programs and opportunities that support recruitment, retention and member engagement.
- Communicate Chamber advocacy priorities, initiatives, policy positions and outcomes in clear, member-focused language.
- Lead the marketing and promotion of Chamber events across digital and printed channels, including registration campaigns, speaker and sponsor recognition.
- Create and coordinate graphics, brochures, signage, presentations,



event collateral and other marketing materials while maintaining consistent Chamber branding.
- Assist Chamber staff with event preparation, in office execution, content capture, follow-up communications and post-event activities.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

- Excellent written and verbal communication, editing and content development skills.
- Strong experience with graphic design, social media management, digital communications, website content and brand management.
- Strong organization, project management and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, Canva, email marketing platforms, website content management and major social media platforms.
- Post-secondary education in marketing, communications, business, public relations or a related field is preferred; an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered.
- Access to a vehicle with a valid driver's licence is required.
