We at Hunk Transport are seeking a dedicated and experienced Owner Operator Driver for Flatbed to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting freight efficiently and safely while managing your own vehicle. The ideal candidate will possess robust driving skills with Flatbed expiriance, a commitment to safety, and the ability to handle various types of cargo. Overview
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain your own commercial vehicle in compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
- Transport freight to designated locations in a timely manner.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe operating condition.
- Manage logistics including route planning, fuel management, and delivery schedules.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery status and any potential issues.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and vehicle maintenance.
- Assist with loading and unloading freight as necessary, utilizing forklift or heavy equipment operation skills when required.
- Ensure compliance with all federal,
state, and local transportation laws.
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience in commercial driving and flatbed freight transportation.
- Strong knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance practices for effective vehicle management.
- Experience operating heavy equipment is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.

Pay: $10,000.00-$15,000.00 per month
