Experienced Painter

We are looking for an experienced Painter to join our residential and commercial painting team. The ideal candidate takes pride in quality workmanship, has strong attention to detail, and is comfortable working on a variety of projects ranging from custom homes and renovations to commercial properties.

The successful candidate will have hands-on experience with both interior and exterior painting, excellent surface-preparation skills, and experience operating airless spray equipment.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform high-quality interior and exterior painting on residential and commercial projects.
- Prepare walls, ceilings, trim, doors, and other surfaces for painting.
- Complete detailed prep work, including sanding, scraping, patching, caulking, priming, and masking.
- Properly prepare and finish trim, doors, baseboards, crown moulding, and other detailed surfaces.
- Operate airless spray equipment safely and effectively for appropriate applications.
- Apply paints, stains, primers, and specialty coatings using brushes, rollers, and sprayers.
- Work on custom homes, renovations, new construction, and commercial properties.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas throughout each project.
- Protect floors, furniture, fixtures, windows, and finished surfaces during preparation and painting.




- Identify surface imperfections and complete necessary corrections before applying finishes.
- Follow project specifications and maintain high standards of quality and attention to detail.
- Work efficiently while maintaining professional workmanship and customer service.

Requirements

- 3+ years of professional painting experience preferred.
- Proven experience with both interior and exterior painting.
- Experience painting custom homes and renovation projects.
- Solid experience with wall preparation, including patching, sanding, caulking, scraping, and priming.
- Strong experience with trim preparation and finishing.
- Experience operating airless spray equipment, including proper setup, application, cleaning, and maintenance.
- Knowledge of proper preparation and application techniques for different surfaces and coatings.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional.
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized job site.
- Physically capable of standing for extended periods, climbing ladders, and performing the demands of painting work.
- Valid driver's licence is an asset.

Pay: $19.66-$34.78 per hour
