Role Details

When you volunteer at the Canadian Cancer Society you have real impact. It takes all of us to take on cancer. Volunteer with us at one of our signature events in your community on event day. You can choose a specific role and shift(s) based on availability. You can also assist us when we need event support on an on-call basis in your own community.

Description

Tasks for this role include:

- Be the first point of contact for our guests, offer a warm welcome!
- Direct traffic and guide participants from the parking area to the venue
- Monitor the drop-off/pick-up zone and help keep traffic flowing safely
- This is an active role in which you will need to stand for around 2 hours
