About Us

We're a packaging company located in Concord, ON looking for a driver to shunt between our three locations as well as make customer deliveries in the GTA. The shift is 3 days per week to start, 6 am to 3 pm firm hours

Duties

- Safely and efficiently operate a manual and automatic commercial truck
- Occasionally assist in the loading/unloading of skidded product using a forklifts or other heavy equipment (optional)
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure its safe operation
- Follow all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies while on the road
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents or delays
- Communicate effectively and professionally with dispatchers, customers, and other team members
- Follow company procedures for delivery/pickup paperwork as well as ensuring accuracy of loads

Requirements:




- Valid AZ license with a clean driving abstract
- Ability to drive manual transmission
- Minimum of [5] years of experience as a truck driver
- Knowledge of freight transportation regulations and procedures
- Experience operating heavy equipment, such as forklifts, is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills
- Ability to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced environment

Pay: From $26.00 per hour
