Overview
We are looking for a reliable and motivated Part-Time Bakery Team Member to support operations across both of our Toronto locations. This position includes responsibilities in both front-of-house/customer service and kitchen operations, and employees may be scheduled at either location depending on business needs.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Provide professional customer service and accurately process customer orders and payments.
- Serve, package, display, and restock bakery products.
- Prepare sandwiches, food items, coffee, and other beverages.
- Assist with basic baking and kitchen preparation as required.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in both front-of-house and kitchen areas.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and product-handling procedures.
- Complete opening and closing duties as scheduled.
Requirements
- Reliable, punctual, responsible, and team-oriented.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Comfortable working in both front-of-house and kitchen operations.
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced workplace.
- Weekend availability required and flexibility for weekday shifts.
- Must be available to work at both locations.
- Previous bakery, café,
restaurant, retail, or food-service experience preferred.
- Food Handler Certification is an asset.
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order calculations
- Knowledge of sanitation standards and food safety regulations in the food industry
We are looking for someone flexible and team-oriented who is willing to support different areas of the bakery based on daily operational needs. Pay: From $17.60 per hour
