Responsibilities

- Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service in multiple languages as needed
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for cash handling, credit card transactions, and sales processing
- Assist customers with product inquiries, upselling opportunities, and product demonstrations to enhance their shopping experience
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the store, including shelves, displays, and common areas.
- Clean and maintain the staff lunchroom and washrooms approximately one to two times per week, requiring about two hours weekly, in addition to regular cashier responsibilities. Duties include sanitizing surfaces,



cleaning fixtures and floors, emptying garbage and replenishing supplies.
- Manage phone inquiries professionally, providing information or directing calls appropriately

Experience
- Previous retail sales or cashiering experience is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy
- Solid communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers
- Familiarity with POS systems or technology sales is advantageous but not mandatory
- Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in customer service roles that involve upselling or product demonstrations is beneficial
- Ability to manage time efficiently while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and customer engagement
