About the roleShannondale Developments is looking for a part-time Leasing Agent to help lease up The Shanley, a brand-new 172-unit purpose-built rental building in downtown Kitchener. This is a hands-on, lease-up-focused role: you'll conduct tours, follow up with prospects, and help close leases over the next 18 months as we bring the building to full occupancy. You'll work alongside our property management team, adding capacity specifically for tours and fast lead response.

Evening and weekend availability is essential — most of our prospective tenants want to see the building outside of a 9-to-5 schedule, and this role is built around meeting them when it's convenient for them.

What you'll do

- Conduct in-person tours of model suites and the building (approx. 45 minutes each)
- Respond to new leasing inquiries promptly — we're committed to same-day follow-up on every lead, and you'll be a key part of making that happen
- Log all activity, lead details, and tour outcomes in Rhenti (our leasing CRM)
- Support digital marketing efforts — helping keep listings current, assisting with social content,



and flagging what's working (or not) on lead sources
- Assist prospects through the application and lease-signing process
- Work closely with our property management partner and ownership team to keep the leasing funnel moving

What we're looking for
- Experience in leasing, real estate, hospitality, or customer-facing sales (property leasing experience a strong plus)
- Comfortable using a CRM or similar software (Rhenti experience a bonus, not required)
- Excellent communication skills and a genuine ability to build rapport quickly
- Available evenings and weekends — this is central to the role
- Self-starter who follows up promptly and doesn't let leads go cold
- Based in or near Kitchener-Waterloo

Compensation$19–$22/hour, commensurate with experience, with the potential for a per-lease incentive on top of your hourly rate. Total hours: approximately 15–20/week.
