Brindy Silk is looking for a personable and dependable Sales Associate to represent our brand at markets, trade shows, and special events throughout Calgary and the surrounding area—including our award-winning Calgary Stampede booth.

Brindy Silk is a Calgary-based luxury silk company dedicated to creating high-quality products that support healthier-looking hair, smoother-looking skin, and better beauty sleep.

After more than three years of research and product development, we created a collection of premium mulberry silk essentials, including innovative silver-ion-infused pillowcases designed for acne-prone skin and hyaluronic-acid-infused pillowcases that support hydration and anti-aging skincare routines.

Position Details
- Part-time, on-site sales position
- Locations throughout Calgary, including the BMO Centre, Spruce Meadows, local markets, trade shows, and seasonal exhibits
- Occasional travel to nearby communities such as Okotoks and Millarville
- Approximately three to four out-of-town shifts during the Christmas season
- Starting pay of $15–$18 per hour, based on experience
- Additional tiered sales commission
- Full eight-hour shift availability is required
- Hours increase significantly during the Christmas season; November, and December
- Full-time availability may be required during peak periods

Responsibilities
- Welcome customers and provide friendly, attentive service




- Confidently introduce and promote Brindy Silk’s luxury products
- Learn our product benefits and explain how silk support customers’ haircare, skincare, and sleep concerns
- Build genuine customer relationships and recommend suitable products
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently
- Assist customers during busy, high-volume events
- Maintain an organized, clean, and visually appealing booth
- Monitor, organize, and handle inventory responsibly
- Assist with booth setup, restocking, and event operations
- Work independently while contributing to a small, motivated team

Availability Requirements

Applicants must

- Be available on weekends and select weekdays
- Be able to work full eight-hour shifts
- Have increased availability during November, and December
- Be comfortable working indoors and outdoors throughout the year
- Be available for occasional shifts in Okotoks, Millarville, and other nearby communities
- Have a valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle

- Comfortable handling transactions and high customer volumes
- Able to work independently without constant supervision
- Interested in beauty, skincare, haircare, wellness, or luxury retail

Qualifications
- Minimum 1-2 years of sales experience preferred
- Strong customer-service and interpersonal skills
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to build rapport and connect with customers
- Comfortable promoting products and closing sales
- Able to stand for up to eight hours per shift
- Organized and responsible when handling inventory and customer orders
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle

Opportunity for Growth For the right candidate, this position may develop into a more consistent part-time role with additional responsibilities, including:
- Processing and preparing online orders
