Job Overview

Hockey Development Centre (HDC) Calgary is looking for an outgoing and motivated Sales Representative to help grow our business partnerships, sponsorships, and advertising opportunities.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys sales, networking, and building relationships with local businesses. Your main focus will be connecting HDC with companies interested in advertising, sponsorship, partnerships, and other opportunities to support and grow our business.

Responsibilities

- Find and connect with potential sponsors, advertisers, and business partners
- Sell advertising opportunities within the HDC facility
- Secure sponsorships for HDC programs, events, camps, and tournaments
- Reach out to local businesses through calls, emails, networking, and in-person meetings
- Generate new leads and follow up with potential partners
- Build and maintain relationships with current and new sponsors




- Bring forward recent ideas for partnerships and revenue opportunities
- Represent HDC professionally within the Calgary business community

We're Looking For Someone Who Is
- Outgoing, confident, and comfortable approaching businesses
- Sales-driven and motivated by results
- Comfortable with cold calling and generating new leads
- Organized with strong communication and follow-up skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Interested in building long-term business relationships

Previous sales, sponsorship, advertising, or business development experience is an asset. Knowledge of hockey or the Calgary business community is also an asset.

Compensation

This is a commission-based part-time position, with earnings based on successful sales, sponsorships, advertising partnerships, and other approved revenue-generating opportunities.

Specific commission structure will be discussed with successful candidates.
