A Great Part-Time Opportunity in the North Bay Area. We are seeking a Part-Time Staff Pharmacist to join a well-established pharmacy in the North Bay area of Ontario on a fixed-term contract.

Compensation & Schedule
- CAD $65–$70/hour
- 26 hours per week
- Annualized equivalent of approximately CAD $87,880–$94,640/year based on 26 hours/week
- Fixed-term contract
- Alternating weekends
- Full shifts on Monday and Wednesday
- Schedule structured around the pharmacy's operating hours
Pharmacy Hours
- Monday–Thursday: 9:00 AM–8:00 PM
- Friday: 9:00 AM–6:00 PM
- Saturday & Sunday: 11:00 AM–3:00 PM
The pharmacist will work approximately 26 hours per week, with full shifts on Monday and Wednesday and alternating weekend coverage.
About the Pharmacy
This is a busy community pharmacy processing approximately 1,700 prescriptions per week, including blister packaging. Despite the volume, the pharmacy operates with a straightforward workflow: One pharmacist on duty at a time — no pharmacist overlap; Two support staff; Kroll pharmacy system; Established patient base.
Clinical Responsibilities The successful pharmacist will have the opportunity to provide a range of professional and clinical services, including:
- Prescription verification and dispensing
- Medication counselling and patient education
- Medication reviews and clinical assessments
- Minor ailment services
- Injection and vaccination services
- Collaboration with healthcare providers
- Supporting patients with medication-related concerns
- Maintaining accurate patient records using Kroll
- Contributing to patient safety and quality pharmacy care
What We're Looking For
- Licensed Pharmacist in Ontario
- Active registration with the Ontario College of Pharmacists
- Experience in community pharmacy preferred
- Injection certified
- Minor ailment certified
- Strong clinical and communication skills
- Patient-focused approach
- Ability to work independently in a busy pharmacy environment
- Comfortable working with blister packaging and a high prescription volume
- Experience with Kroll is an asset
- Availability for the required Monday/Wednesday shifts and alternating weekends
