Our Parts Department plays an essential role in supporting both our customers and Service Department by ensuring the right parts are available when they are needed.

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Parts Advisor to join our team. The Parts Advisor will be responsible for assisting customers and service technicians in selecting and ordering automotive parts and accessories. This role requires robust customer service skills, knowledge of automotive parts, attention to detail, and the ability to ensure accurate and timely fulfillment of parts orders.

JOB DUTIES

- Assist retail customers and service technicians with parts inquiries, orders, and sales.
- Provide accurate and timely information regarding parts availability, pricing, and delivery times.
- Process parts orders and ensure they are correctly sourced, received, and distributed on time.
- Maintain an organized and efficient parts department, including stocking, shelving, and inventory management.
- Utilize dealership management software and manufacturer systems to track parts orders, inventory levels, and customer transactions.
- Handle customer concerns and complaints related to parts and provide appropriate solutions to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate closely with Service Technicians and the Service Department to identify and order the correct parts for vehicle repairs and maintenance.
- Assist with parts returns, warranty claims, exchanges,



and core returns as required.
- Maintain knowledge of Kia vehicles, OEM parts, accessories, and manufacturer updates.
- Keep up to date with automotive parts, accessories, and product developments.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized parts department and work area.
- Support the Parts Department with administrative duties, including filing, invoicing, inventory records, and other documentation.
- Assist with receiving, inspecting, and properly storing incoming parts.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Parts Manager or Fixed Operations Manager.

SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES POSSESS

- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; additional automotive parts training or certification is an asset.
- Previous experience as an Automotive Parts Advisor, Parts Counterperson, or in a similar dealership role is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of automotive parts, accessories, and vehicle systems.
- Knowledge of Kia vehicles and OEM parts is an asset.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when identifying and ordering parts.
- Proficiency with dealership management software, parts catalogues, and other relevant computer applications.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.




- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced dealership environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to work collaboratively with Parts, Service, Sales, and other dealership departments.
- Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record.
- A positive, professional, and customer-focused attitude.
