Dynamic Fluid Power is looking for an experienced Parts Counter Specialist who enjoys solving problems, helping customers, and working in a rapid-paced industrial environment.

This position is ideal for someone with previous parts counter, hydraulic/pneumatic, industrial supply, heavy equipment, automotive parts, or similar technical experience who takes pride in providing knowledgeable, professional customer service.

The Position

As a Parts Counter Specialist, you will work directly with both internal and external customers to identify their needs, source the right parts, provide product information, process orders, and help keep our operations moving.

You will support customers in person, over the phone, and through email while working closely with our service, sales, purchasing, shipping, receiving, and technical teams.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Greet and assist customers promptly and professionally at the parts counter, showroom, by phone, and through email.
- Accurately identify and supply parts based on customer requirements.
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations and help customers find solutions when the requested product is unavailable.
- Source parts through suppliers and arrange special or rush orders when required.
- Follow up on customer orders, purchase orders, work orders, backorders, and special-order items.
- Communicate regularly with internal departments regarding the status and availability of parts.
- Maintain strong working knowledge of our products, suppliers, catalogues, and inventory systems.
- Use systems including Windward, PHConnect, Topz,



and other company software.
- Assist with making hydraulic hoses when required.
- Support shipping and receiving, stocking shelves, locating difficult-to-find parts, and other department activities when needed.
- Work closely with purchasing to ensure urgent customer requirements and timelines are communicated.
- Help create the kind of customer experience that keeps customers coming back.

What We’re Looking For We are especially interested in candidates who bring previous experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Parts counter or parts department
- Hydraulic or pneumatic components
- Industrial parts and equipment
- Heavy equipment or agricultural parts
- Automotive or truck parts
- Industrial supply or mechanical service environments
- Hose and fitting assembly

You’ll Be Successful Here If You Have
- Strong customer service skills and enjoy working directly with customers.
- Mechanical aptitude and the ability to understand technical parts and applications.
- Working knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems is a strong asset.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to find alternatives when a part is unavailable.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.




- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple customer requests and follow-ups.
- Confidence using computers, inventory systems, supplier websites, email, and electronic catalogues.
- The ability to work effectively with customers, suppliers, technicians, sales staff, purchasing, and management.
- A team-first attitude and willingness to assist wherever needed.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to getting orders right the first time.

Experience Previous parts counter, industrial parts, hydraulic/pneumatic, automotive, heavy equipment, agricultural equipment, or related technical parts experience is strongly preferred.

Applicants with direct hydraulic parts, hose, fitting, valve, cylinder, pneumatic, or fluid power experience will be considered a strong asset.

This is a full-time, in-person position. Remote work is not available.
