We are currently looking for a Parts Counter Sales Representative to join our Ottawa team at our Albion location.

The Prospect

As a Parts Counter Sales Representative, you will be an important point of contact for our customers, helping them identify and obtain the correct parts and components for their trucks, equipment, and hydraulic systems. The successful candidate will combine strong customer service skills with practical product knowledge and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist customers at the parts counter, by telephone, and by email.
- Identify parts and components based on customer requirements, equipment specifications, and part numbers.
- Prepare quotations, sales orders, invoices, and parts orders accurately.
- Research parts availability, pricing, and alternatives through suppliers and internal systems.
- Process customer orders and follow up to ensure timely delivery.
- Receive, verify, label, and organize incoming parts and inventory.
- Maintain accurate inventory and assist with stock control.
- Develop positive and professional relationships with customers and suppliers.
- Recommend appropriate parts, products, and alternatives when required.




- Coordinate with the service and sales departments to ensure customer needs are met.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe parts counter and warehouse area.
- Perform other related duties as required.

Qualifications

- Previous experience in parts counter sales, automotive, truck equipment, hydraulics, heavy equipment, or a related industry is an asset.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Good computer skills and the ability to learn inventory and parts-management systems.
- Ability to identify parts using catalogues, part numbers, measurements, and equipment information.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Good organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Mechanical or technical knowledge is a strong asset.
- Bilingualism in English and French is an asset.
- A positive, team-oriented attitude and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
