The Role
As the Parts Manager, you'll lead the Parts Department by ensuring efficient operations, accurate inventory management, and exceptional support for our Service and Sales teams. As a key member of the Fixed Operations leadership team, you'll build a well-organized, high-performing department that delivers the right parts, at the right time, while supporting an exceptional customer experience.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead daily Parts Department operations, ensuring effective workflow, accurate inventory management, and exceptional customer service.
- Manage inventory levels, ordering, and stocking strategies to support Service, Sales, wholesale, and retail demand.
- Coach, develop, and support Parts Advisors and team members while fostering a productive, customer-focused culture.
- Partner with Service, Technicians, and Sales teams to ensure timely parts availability and seamless dealership operations.
- Build robust relationships with vendors and suppliers while managing pricing, ordering, returns, and warranty processes.
- Monitor key performance indicators, including sales, gross profit, fill rates, and inventory turnover, to drive department success.
- Resolve customer concerns and ensure all internal and external customers receive qualified, timely support.
- Maintain compliance with dealership and manufacturer policies while ensuring accurate records, reporting, and inventory controls.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in parts department management, with dealership background strongly preferred.
- Mechanical knowledge to efficiently identify and source correct parts for repairs is preferred.
- Strong communication and solution focused, ensuring professional interactions with customers, technicians, and vendors.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and process driven
- Proven leadership skills with experience coaching, mentoring, and developing team members.
- Performance-driven mindset, focused on achieving department goals and delivering exceptional service.
