Join The Salvation Army as a Community Corrections Support Worker in Victoria. Focus on empowering parolees in a residential facility, ensuring safety and compliance during their transition to independence.
In this role at the Victoria Addictions & Rehabilitation Centre, you will be instrumental in supporting parolees as they reintegrate into society. Key responsibilities include monitoring client activities, maintaining facility security, and ensuring compliance with all policies. You'll collaborate with a diverse team dedicated to serving those in need, adhering to the organization's core values of Hope, Service, Dignity, and Stewardship.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop knowledge of CRF policies and procedures • Conduct regular rounds and bed checks continuously • Monitor medication access for clients accurately • Communicate with parole officers and law enforcement • Maintain confidential records and duty logs tactfully
Requirements: • High School diploma or equivalent experience • Minimum 6 months relevant experience required • First Aid Level 1/CPR certification necessary • Explicit Criminal Records Check mandated • Class 5 driver's license preferred
