Canaray is Canada's largest oral radiology organization, providing advanced dental imaging and radiologist reporting services through a network of clinics across Ontario.
Our approach is simple: do the right thing for patients. We don't have sales quotas or production targets. Our focus is on providing excellent patient care, accurate work, and reliable service to the dental professionals and patients who depend on us.
We are looking for a detail-oriented and technology-comfortable person to join our clinic support team. This is a outstanding opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people and also likes the technical, behind-the-scenes side of healthcare.
What You'll Do
This is a varied role that combines patient service, administration, and technical imaging support. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing information to patients and clinicians over the phone and in person
- Scheduling, confirming, and modifying patient appointments
- Providing a welcoming and professional experience for patients
- Reviewing and proofreading radiology reports for accuracy and completeness
- Managing patient documentation and electronic records
- Performing accurate data entry and database updates
- Working with Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) DICOM files
- Learning to manipulate and process 3D dental imaging data
- Performing segmentation of 3D imaging datasets
- Maintaining patient confidentiality and following PHIPA requirements
- Supporting clinic organization, sanitization,
and health and safety procedures
- Assisting with other clinic and imaging support responsibilities as needed
Don't know what DICOM, CBCT, or 3D segmentation means yet? That's okay. Training is provided.
