Duties

- Assess and appraise a wide variety of items brought in for pawn or sale, using technical knowledge and market awareness
- Provide clear product demonstrations and explain loan or purchase terms to customers
- Conduct merchandise merchandising to optimize product presentation and attract customer interest
- Manage point-of-sale (POS) transactions accurately, including cash handling and receipt issuance
- Engage with customers through excellent communication skills, offering upselling opportunities to maximize sales
- Maintain organized records of transactions, inventory, and customer interactions
- Ensure compliance with all safety procedures,

Skills

- Multilingual abilities or bilingual proficiency to serve diverse customer bases effectively
- Experience in retail sales, especially in technology or product demonstration environments
- Strong technical sales experience with the ability to perform product demos confidently
- Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and active listening
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing
- Organizational skills to manage time efficiently and keep the workspace tidy
- Customer service orientation with a friendly, skilled demeanor focused on building trust and rapport
