Hours of Work

Equivalent to 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week. Please note: The successful incumbent will be required to work 7:45 a.m. - 11:45 a.m. and 1:45 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Duties

Qualifications

- Minimum Grade 10 education (Grade 12 or equivalent is preferred)
- Valid Fireman's Certificate is an asset but not required
- Valid Driver's License
- Direct experience in the caretaking field would be considered an asset
- Demonstrated understanding of cleaning procedures, cleaning processes, products and equipment is preferred
- General mechanical/plumbing knowledge and aptitude
- Must have the ability to operate tractors, mowers, and equipment efficiently and safely
- Knowledge of computers and applicable software




- Knowledge of the Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System
- Commitment to the ideals of public education as well as the mission, vision and guiding principles of the South East Cornerstone School Division

Salary & Advantages

Salary and benefits are in accordance with the currently negotiated SEIU-West Collective Agreement as listed on our website www.secpsd.ca. The starting wage for this position is currently $23.49/hour along with a full benefit package and an employer defined pension plan.
