Reporting to the Senior Operations Manager, the Helicopter Pilot is responsible for the operation and safety of the aircraft they command, and for the safety of all persons onboard during flight time. For this purpose,
the Helicopter Pilot will have final authority for the disposition of the aircraft, during the time in which they are in command.
The Helicopter
Pilot ensures the aircraft is operated in accordance with all applicable orders, SOPs, and regulations and is expected to uphold the qualified image of the company. Ensure that aircraft checklists are used during all flight operations. Responsible to complete the daily inspection prior to each flight assignment.
Devise a flight plan using information about the weather, passengers, aircraft, and route. Prior to each flight ensure that the aircraft is suitably equipped for the mission. Monitor loading and unloading of cargo to ensure a balanced load and careful handling procedures.
Ensure operation of the aircraft is always performed in a safe manner.
Canadian Commercial Pilot
License (H), with VFR or IFR experience. Extensive flying experience across relevant aircraft types. Previous experience working in remote geographical locations. Ability to pass criminal background check and hold a valid passport. Demonstrate analytical reasoning, with the ability to prioritize tasks and projects.
