Our client is an independent Quebec-based insurance brokerage that has been established for over 100 years. With a strong reputation and continued growth, they are looking for an experienced Personal & Commercial Lines Insurance Broker to join their service team.

Located in Montreal, the brokerage offers a stable, professional and people-focused environment where you can leverage your expertise while enjoying excellent working conditions.

What We Offer

- Permanent, full-time position;
- 35-hour workweek, Monday to Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.;
- Salary starting at $70,000 per year or more, depending on experience;
- Group insurance coverage from the first day of employment, including dental, disability and prescription drug coverage, with a 50% employer contribution;
- Group RRSP with a 2% employer contribution;

Your Day-to-Day

- Manage an approximately $1 million book of business for the producing broker, in collaboration with an assistant;




- Manage and follow up on policy renewals and endorsements;
- Answer client inquiries and provide professional insurance advice tailored to their needs;
- Negotiate terms and contracts with various insurance carriers;
- Work with a client portfolio consisting of approximately 90% Commercial Lines and 10% Personal Lines;
- Collaborate with insurers, clients and various stakeholders to ensure efficient account management;
- After one year, have the opportunity to gradually build your own book of business, if desired, and earn 50% of the commissions generated.

What You Bring

- A valid AMF licence in both Personal and Commercial Lines Property & Casualty Insurance;
- A minimum of 4 years of experience as a Property & Casualty Insurance Broker, including at least 2 years of Commercial Lines experience;
- Fluency in both French and English, spoken and written;
- Strong client service, advisory, negotiation and account management skills;
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently in a professional environment;
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to build long-term business relationships.
