Personal Support Worker (PSW) / Home Care Worker

About Us

A3 Home Care provides reliable and compassionate private home-care and personal support services to seniors and individuals who need assistance with their daily activities.

Job Responsibilities

- Assist clients with personal care and activities of daily living
- Bathing, grooming, dressing and toileting assistance
- Mobility and transfer assistance
- Meal preparation and feeding assistance, when required
- Medication reminders
- Companionship and social support
- Light housekeeping and laundry
- Assist with maintaining a safe and comfortable home environment
- Follow the client’s care plan and family instructions
- Report changes in the client’s condition to the appropriate person
- Provide respectful, compassionate and client-centred care

Qualifications

- PSW Certificate or equivalent experience preferred




- Previous home-care or senior-care experience is an asset
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred
- Vulnerable Sector Check required
- Reliable and compassionate
- Positive communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends, is an asset
