We are currently seeking experienced, compassionate, and highly reliable Personal Support Workers (PSWs) to support clients in Milton, Ontario.

This position is ideal for PSWs who are passionate about providing exceptional, person-centred care and helping clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their homes and communities.

Responsibilities

- Provide compassionate, person-centred care based on each client's individual needs and care plan.
- Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, and hygiene.
- Support safe mobility, transfers, positioning, and ambulation.
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) while promoting independence, dignity, and choice.
- Provide meal preparation and feeding assistance as required.
- Provide medication reminders in accordance with the client's care plan.
- Perform light housekeeping related to client care.
- Provide meaningful companionship, conversation, and engagement.
- Accompany clients to appointments, activities, or errands as required.
- Observe and promptly report changes in a client's condition, mobility, behaviour, or care needs.
- Follow established care plans, safety protocols, and clinical direction.
- Maintain a safe, respectful, professional, and comfortable environment for clients and their families.
- Work collaboratively with families, Good Comfort's clinical team, and other healthcare professionals.

Qualifications
- Personal Support Worker Certificate or equivalent.
- Previous professional experience as a PSW is preferred.
- Strong hands-on personal care and ADL experience.




- Experience with mobility assistance, transfers, and secure body mechanics.
- Comfortable working independently in a client's home or community setting.
- Excellent communication, observation, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Compassionate, patient, dependable, attentive, and professional.
- Reliable transportation and the ability to travel to client locations in Milton and surrounding areas is an asset.

Required Certifications
- Current First Aid & CPR (Level C)
- Valid Vulnerable Sector Police Check
- Proof of eligibility to work in Canada
- Safe Lifting & Transfer Training preferred
- WHMIS preferred
