Job Overview

We are looking for a reliable, professional, and customer-focused Pest Control Technician to join our growing team in Moncton, Current Brunswick.

The technician will be responsible for inspecting residential and commercial properties, identifying pest activity, performing appropriate treatments, installing and servicing pest-control equipment, and providing customers with professional recommendations for long-term pest prevention.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform detailed pest inspections at residential and commercial properties.
- Identify pest species, infestation levels, entry points, nesting areas, and contributing conditions.
- Provide treatments for common pests, including:
- Mice and rats
- Cockroaches
- Bed bugs
- Ants
- Wasps and hornets
- Spiders
- Fleas
- Silverfish and other crawling insects
- Install, inspect, service, and document interior and exterior rodent bait stations and monitoring devices.
- Apply pesticides and other pest-management products safely and according to product labels and applicable regulations.
- Perform exclusion and preventative work, including identifying and sealing potential pest entry points where appropriate.
- Explain treatment procedures, preparation requirements, safety precautions, and prevention recommendations to customers.
- Complete detailed service reports after every job, including findings, treatments performed, products used, and recommendations.
- Conduct follow-up visits and warranty/callback services when required.
- Maintain pesticide application equipment, tools, PPE, and company vehicle in clean and professional condition.
- Maintain accurate records of pesticide usage and service activities.




- Follow all company safety procedures and applicable New Brunswick pesticide regulations.
- Provide professional, respectful, and friendly customer service at all times.
- Identify opportunities for additional pest-management or preventative services when appropriate.

Qualifications

- Previous pest-control experience is preferred, but training may be provided to the right candidate.
- Valid driver's licence with a good driving record.
- Ability to obtain and maintain the appropriate New Brunswick pesticide applicator certification/licence required for the work performed.
- Strong communication and customer-service skills.
- Comfortable working independently and managing a daily service route.
- Able to work in basements, crawl spaces, attics, commercial facilities, outdoors, and other pest-prone environments.
- Comfortable working with insects and rodents.
- Able to use ladders and perform physically demanding work when required.
- Must be dependable, punctual, organized, and able to complete accurate service documentation.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Sales or customer-service experience is considered an asset.
