Objectives and Description:
Spirit Healthcare Group is looking for a Pharmacy Billing &
- Wholesale Assistant Coordinator in our Wholesale and Pharmacy department. This role collaborates with the Wholesale &
- Invoicing Coordinator, Pharmacy Support Managers, and the Manager, QA &
- Pharmacy AR and values teamwork, reliability, high energy, efficiency, compassion, detail oriented day-to-day business.

• Wholesale Assistant Coordinator supports pharmacy billing and reimbursement processes, wholesale order processing, pharmacy returns, and other pharmacy and operational activities as required.

Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate patient reimbursement and coverage processes with government programs, third-party payors, agencies, and other applicable funding sources, working closely with the pharmacy team to support accurate and timely processing.
Utilize Business Central to create Price Quotes, Blanket Sales Orders, and Invoices to support pharmacy program funding approval processes and billing for various programs.
Support the Wholesale & Invoicing Coordinator with processing wholesale orders, including order fulfillment, picking, lot/batch tracking and traceability, packaging, preparing shipping documentation, invoicing, and related inventory processes.
Support the Pharmacy with the returns process, including product reconciliation, processing expired or damaged products, coordinating vendor/manufacturer returns, and completing inventory adjustments, where applicable.
Maintain patient confidentiality and protect prescription, financial, business, and other sensitive information in accordance with applicable privacy requirements and company policies.
Support the Pharmacy in various duties through cross-training to provide vacancy coverage and support changing operational needs.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned to support operational needs.
Support drug recall activities and maintain related regulatory documentation, as required
Qualifications:
Knowledge or experience with GMP and MDEL requirements is considered an asset.
Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry is considered an asset.
Experience with Kroll pharmacy software is considered an asset.
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or comparable ERP/order-management systems is considered an asset.
Previous experience in a pharmacy, pharmaceutical distribution, healthcare billing/reimbursement, wholesale, or regulated healthcare environment is considered an asset.
Relevant post-secondary education in Pharmacy Assistant, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field is considered an asset.
Excellent analytical capabilities, attention to detail, problem solving, and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Ability to multi-task and handle multiple projects
Professional level communication skills
Awareness of Indigenous Culture and knowledge of the communities considered an asset

Majority office hours: 9 am – 5 pm, Monday to Friday with flexibility to accommodate clients/external stakeholders as needed
