Role Description This is a full time, on-site Physiotherapist role based in Toronto, ON. The Physiotherapist will assess clients’ conditions, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide hands-on therapy and exercise-based rehabilitation. Daily tasks include conducting initial and follow-up assessments, documenting clinical findings, monitoring progress, and adjusting treatment plans as needed.
The role involves educating clients about injury prevention, home exercise programs, and strategies for long-term functional improvement.
The Physiotherapist will collaborate with other healthcare professionals when appropriate, maintain accurate clinical records, and contribute to a safe, respectful, and inclusive clinic environment.
Qualifications
- Professional physiotherapy qualifications, including completion of an accredited Physiotherapy program and eligibility for licensure with the appropriate regulatory body in Ontario.
- Strong clinical assessment and treatment skills in musculoskeletal, orthopedic, and rehabilitation care, with the ability to create individualized treatment plans.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with diverse clients and collaborate with colleagues and other healthcare professionals.
- Organizational and time-management abilities to manage a clinical caseload, maintain accurate documentation, and follow clinic protocols.
- Commitment to ethical practice, continuous learning, and staying current with evidence-based physiotherapy and rehabilitation approaches.
- Experience in private practice or outpatient rehabilitation settings is an asset; additional certifications (e.g., manual therapy, exercise prescription, sports rehab) are beneficial.
