We are seeking a passionate Piano Teacher to inspire students of all ages and skill levels to discover the joy of music through the piano. In this role, you will design engaging lessons that foster musical growth, technical proficiency, and a lifelong love of playing. Your enthusiasm and dedication will create a positive learning environment where students feel motivated to achieve their musical goals.
Responsibilities
- Develop customized piano lesson plans tailored to each student’s age, skill level, and learning style
- Teach proper technique, music theory, sight-reading, and performance skills through engaging instruction
- Foster a supportive and engaging atmosphere that encourages student participation and confidence
- Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to guide improvement
- Prepare students for recitals, exams, or performances to showcase their progress
- Maintain accurate records of lessons, attendance, and student achievements
- Collaborate with parents or guardians to discuss student development and address any concerns
Requirements
- Advanced music education either through RCM or Music Degree
- Proven experience in teaching piano to diverse age groups and skill levels
- Experience working with children and understanding early childhood education principles
- Comfortable teaching adults and seniors
- Excellent communication skills to effectively connect with students and parents
- Patience, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for music education
This is a flexible freelance role where you get to pick your available days and times. We value dedicated educators who are eager to share their passion for music! Pay: $28.00-$30.00 per hour
