Rockhard Excavating is a fast growing company with a positive atmosphere that specializes in residential and commercial Civil Construction projects. We are well established in the Okanagan and have been operating for 10+ years.

We are looking for an experienced and reliable Civil Construction Pipe Layer to join our team for a full time permanent position.

This is a diverse position that includes both working independently and in crews for various types of commercial and residential excavation projects.

Requirements

-2+ years experience in the Civil Construction Industry

-Experienced with running all types of heavy equipment is an asset

-Ability to work along side the Foreman and lead the crew to efficiently install sanitary, storm and water mainlines, services and shallow utility conduits

-Experience with foundation excavation and road construction is considered an asset but not required

-Ability to work both independently and in a crew

-Ability to lead and train labourers





-Experience with Topcon GPS & Pocket 3D an asset but not required

-Ability to read and interpret civil and foundation drawings is an asset but not required

-Knowledge of MMCD specifications an asset but not required

-Raceway ticket, Confined space ticket and First Aid tickets are assets but not required

-A valid drivers license and own vehicle

Wages range from $28.00-$38.00 per hour and are negotiable based on experience level.
