We're currently looking for an experienced Pipelayer with a background in storm sewer, sanitary sewer, and watermain installation to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in hands-on work, and wants to build real skills in civil construction.

What You'll Do

Working alongside experienced operators and company management, you'll install and maintain critical underground infrastructure on commercial, industrial, and high-density residential construction projects. Typical responsibilities include:

- Laying storm sewer, sanitary sewer, and watermain pipe to grade and specification
- Reading and interpreting drawings to properly align and connect pipe runs, structures, and services
- Working safely in and around trenches and excavations
- Performing shoring, bedding, compaction, backfilling, and site restoration in accordance with project specifications
- Operating construction tools and small equipment
- Operating heavy equipment as required
- Coordinating with grade control systems to ensure accurate slope and elevation
- Maintaining a safe, organized job site in accordance with company policies and OHSA regulations

This is hands-on, outdoor work that requires teamwork, communication, and commitment to high-quality workmanship.

Requirements

- Valid Ontario Class G Driver's License with a clean abstract
- Hands-on experience installing storm sewer, sanitary sewer, and/or watermain systems
- Ability to read and work from civil drawings and grade sheets
- Ability to work in a physically demanding outdoor environment
- Experience with trench safety, shoring, and excavation practices is an asset
