Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Pizza Cook to join our vibrant restaurant team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing delicious pizzas and other menu items, ensuring high-quality food service, and maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment. This role offers an excellent chance to develop skills in food preparation, cooking, and food safety within a sit-down restaurant setting.

Duties

- Prepare pizza dough, toppings, and sauces according to recipes and standards
- Cook pizzas and other menu items in a wood burning oven, using appropriate kitchen equipment
- Ensure food is cooked to the proper temperature, meeting or exceeding AVPN (Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana) standards for taste, preparation and presentation
- Handle food safely and maintain cleanliness in all food preparation areas
- Assist with food handling, meal preparation, and food service tasks as needed
- Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a secure working environment
- Maintain inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, restocking as necessary




- Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent customer service

Experience

- Previous experience in Neapolitan Style Pizza cooking in wood-fired oven is required;
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety standards is desirable
- Familiarity with serving customers and working in a fast-paced environment is beneficial
