Playground Construction Labourer
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Work Location: Wallenstein, ON
Compensation: $20 - 22/hour

At Earthscape Play, we create beautiful, innovative custom playground sculptures and structures that inspire children and adults to creatively play. By partnering with some of the most prestigious Landscape Architecture firms in North America, we bring brilliant playground concepts to life. Our award-winning design-build firm is located just outside of Elmira, Ontario in Waterloo Region.

We are currently looking for multiple Playground Construction Labourers to join our growing team to assist us in processing large timbers. This includes sanding raw logs, ensuring structural stability by installing hardware, and assisting our yard crew to prepare project kits. We offer comprehensive training on equipment and tools and welcome team members who are looking to grow their skills.
Ideal candidates are:
- Looking for something new, exciting and creative to be a part of

- Open to working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Self-motivated, professional, and thrives whether working independently or as part of a team
- Someone who values quality craftsmanship and takes pride in the "finer details" of their work
Job Requirements:
- Need to be at least 18 years of age
- Commit to staying safe, including completing all the necessary safety training and respirator fit testing as well as wearing provided PPE while on the job
- Provide your own reliable transportation to get to our shop in Wallenstein every day.
- Wear our provided uniform including a high visibility t-shirt
- Purchase and wear your own CSA approved work boots (not provided)
- Using the safety equipment we supply and follow safe work practices
Schedule:
- 8-hour shifts
- Monday- Friday
- No weekends
- Overtime opportunities
