Postdoctoral fellowship with at the Hospital for Sick Children

Dr Pullenayegum's research group is part of the Research Institute at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto. We are housed in the Peter Gilgan Centre for Research and Learning, designed specifically to foster collaboration. You will work alongside researchers from diverse fields (clinical epidemiology, health economics, haemotology, paediatric rheumatology, amongst others), thus allowing you to discover the statistical challenges that these researchers experience and to foster cross-disciplinary communication skills.

Here's What You'll Get To Do

- Develop methods for analysing longitudinal data subject to irregular observation;




- Assist in developing software packages for irregular longitudinal data;
- Write papers on the methods you develop;
- Participate in national conferences;
- Work in a vibrant research environment

Here's What You'll Need

- Completed a PhD in statistics or biostatistics;
- Understanding and experience with parametric survival analysis;
- Interest in longitudinal data analysis;
- Sufficient R programming skills to write a software package;
- Ability to write manuscripts suitable for peer-reviewed publication;
- A commitment to understanding and aiding in the pursuit of equity, diversity and inclusion objectives;
- Willingness to relocate to Ontario and meet in person on a weekly basis.

Employment Type: Full-time temporary 1 year contract, 1.0 FTE To Apply: upload a cover letter and CV together with names and contact details for two referees.
