Pre-Kindergarten Early Childhood Educator (Level 3 Certified - 0.50 FTE Temporary)

The Chinook School Division requires a part-time (0.50 FTE) temporary pre-Kindergarten Level three Early Childhood Educator at Shaunavon Public School beginning August 26, 2026 or as soon after as possible.This position ends on June 25, 2027. Shaunavon Public School is a pre-K to Grade 7 school with approximately 159 students and 12 teachers.

Qualifications:

- Effective interpersonal and communication skills;
- Proven ability to work collaboratively and an ability to work in a team environment;
- A teaching philosophy that reflects a constructivist and cooperative learning approach;




- Ability to work effectively within an environment which includes developing meaningful and productive relationships with students, parents, PLC's, professionals and community service agencies;
- Demonstrated ability to connect with youth in a student-centered learning environment in addition to having an interest or willingness to connect with students outside of the classroom;
- Demonstrates a commitment to truth and reconciliation;
- Demonstrates a commitment to supporting diversity and inclusion;
- Successful early learning experience or training;
- Certified as a Level 3 Early Childhood Educator with at least two years of relevant education in good standing in Saskatchewan.
