Sentinel Security Inc. is building a high-performance security team for one of our newest major locations in downtown Toronto — Atrium on Bay at 595 Bay Street.

What Makes This Opportunity Different?

This is an active patrol environment.

Our Premium Security Patrol Agents will regularly be involved in:

- High-visibility interior and exterior patrols
- Responding to security incidents and calls for service
- Managing public safety and security concerns
- Medical emergencies and first-response situations
- De-escalation and crisis intervention
- Trespassing and property-related incidents
- Assisting with arrests and lawful removals when required
- Working alongside and interacting with the Toronto Police Service (TPS) and other emergency services
- Protecting tenants, employees, visitors and members of the public
- Providing professional customer service in a busy downtown environment
- Preparing professional incident reports and maintaining accurate documentation

This position requires agents who can communicate, think, assess situations and act professionally under pressure. Interested in a Career in Policing?

Schedule

This is a full-time continental rotation consisting of 12-hour shifts:

Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM The continental schedule provides a predictable rotation with extended periods of scheduled time off.

Applicants must be comfortable working days, nights, weekends and statutory holidays as part of the rotation.

Successful candidates should

- Hold a valid Ontario Security Guard Licence
- Hold valid First Aid/CPR certification




- Demonstrate exceptional professionalism and reliability
- Have strong verbal and written communication skills
- Be confident interacting with members of the public
- Be capable of remaining calm and professional during challenging situations
- Have strong situational awareness
- Be physically capable of performing regular patrol duties
- Understand the importance of de-escalation and sound judgment
- Be comfortable operating in an active downtown environment
- Take pride in appearance and professional presentation
- Be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
- Be available for the full continental rotation
- Have a genuine desire to protect and help others

Previous experience in corporate security, healthcare security, loss prevention, tactical security, policing, military service, corrections, emergency response or high-volume public environments is considered an asset.
