ADAPT, one of Ontario's largest addiction services agencies, seeks two skilled Addictions Counsellors for a full-time, hybrid role. In this position, you will conduct evaluations, deliver support interventions, and develop personalized wellness plans. Your expertise in crisis intervention and community engagement will enhance our client support initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct assessments and deliver acute interventions
• Develop and implement personalized wellness plans
• Provide group counselling and crisis support
• Engage families and maintain health records
• Facilitate navigation to relevant services
Requirements:
• University degree in Social Work or related fields
• 5+ years of counselling experience
• CPR and First Aid certification required
• ASIST and CPI training essential
• Skilled registration with Ontario College an asset
