We are looking for motivated and physically fit linecutters to join our field crew on a project west of Thunder Bay, Ontario. Work involves cutting and clearing survey lines through bush and rough terrain ahead of a geophysical crew. Accommodations are provided on-site.

Responsibilities

- Cut and transparent survey lines through bush using chainsaws
- Flag and picket lines to grid specifications as cutting progresses
- Work safely and efficiently as part of a small field crew
- Maintain saws and cutting equipment in safe working order
- Assist with general equipment and site duties as required

What We're Looking For

- Must be physically fit and comfortable working long days in rough, uneven terrain




- Chainsaw experience is a strong asset; chainsaw safety certification and ATV operating experience are also assets
- Experience working in remote bush environments (line cutting, forestry, exploration, geology fieldwork, or similar) is a strong asset
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
- Comfortable with remote on-site camp living

Compensation

Pay depends on experience. On-site accommodations are provided by the company.
